Lowering springs for an s5 vert?

The only ones ive seen are the racingbeats and the (awful reviewed) teins. What other options are there? Looking for at least a 1 inch drop.

I used Eibach, but they actually raised the car because the springs that were on the car were so tired.

think its advertised as an inch, but like Iamsisyphus said the stockers are probably dropping it now so you may not see a big visual difference

I ended up using the RB lowering mounts in the front as well, drops another 1/2", this is good enough for me I can drive the car and not hit EVERYTHING

i would do the shifter, it will give you the most bang for your buck, the stock suspension is overkill for most safe and legal street driving conditions

Along with the other stuff suggested, I suggest a front strut bar on a vert. Don't bother with a rear strut bar on a convertible, there is already factory bracing.

In regards to the springs. I have Tein coupe springs on Illuminas and enjoy them.....though I haven't been driving very spirited on them because I'm breaking in an engine and keeping everything mild. I've got the Illuminas set at the stiffest settings and no rubbing on OEM vert wheels. I had the same springs on Tokico Blues and did get some rubbing when both turning and coming out of some parking lots with a steep transitions.

As for the bad review, make sure the reviewer wasn't reviewing counterfeit ones. Tein has a problem with eBay being flooded with fake Tein springs.
