Lowering springs

I have an 87 rx7 that currently has 17 inch rims on it. I was looking to get lowering springs that would drop it 1.5 inches front and back. The springs are Tanabe and I do know they are not good for racing and things like that, I will only use them to drive around town in and also do the occasional drift here and there. Will my wheels be able to fit and not rub or will I have to look for different springs?

It will help if you post up all of your rim and tire dimensions

Stock settings are fine but you've got beyond that already.
Just as badsvt1 stated, we'll need to know dimensions or your larger rims might rub on the fenders or something worse.

That's not too extreme of a change. They're bigger than stock with a slightly less profile tyre; how are the fenders looking? Are they stock or rolled?

Your suspension travel is also important, stock suspension leaves little room on stock settings. Your wheels are bigger and therefore, you may need to roll up room in the front for turning.

The Fenders are not rolled. the suspensions is also stock, i just recently got the struts replaced with stock ones and the springs have not been changed for a long time.
