Lower intake manifold vaccum ports, are they needed?

Decided to re-powdercoat my manifolds to flat black. Anyway, ive got all these unused vacuum nipples on my lower intake not being used. I was going o pull them out, tape the holes and plug them, but they really dont want to come out. I cant find anywhere where they go into the manifold. If they dont, im just going to cut them off. if they do I guess I'll re cap them with rubber caps.

nope, on the RE cosmo that is just a splitter rail and all the ports can be removed or shaved off.
