Lower intake manifold

I was takin off the fuel rail bolt on the secondary fuel rail and didnt cover up the manifold and the bolt fell and went down the front rotor's manifold runner and now i cant seem to get it out.

does anyone have any ideas how to get it out? my friend said to use a magnet to fish it out and said it could take hours any my other friend told me to just take off the lower manifold and replace the Gasket and O-Rings.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Josh

chances are it's "inside" the engine now... I would get a magnet down there. on a peice of string or something. you could also try a vacum cleaner maybe...

whatever you do don't turn the engine over!! nor cranking or by hand.

Id just take the manifold off and look into the engine with a flash light. Hopefully it didnt rocket into the back of it or something.

off with the manifold, and slowly crank the engine. VERY-VERY gently. You can stick your fingers in there and try to fish it out. I've done that too. Or use a telescopic extension with magnetic.

Thats not what I meant . Just it might be laying at the bottom of the manifold, or at the front of the intake port. Rather than in the back of the rotor chamber.

I really wouldnt suggest turning the motor over at all.
