Lower emmisions w/o aux ports?

i just had a thought, would disabling aux ports in my S4 make my aircare (canadian smog) #'s go down? I thought maybe it could be a away to lower aircare numbers since i only have 1 cat, and it was a hundredth away from failing the driving Co2 test. Thats when it wasn't ported, but i am getting it ported so that should make it go up more.

so will it work?

your auxilary ports are closed at idle and under light load. it won't matter.

dam i got a second look at my air care and it was near failing at the IDLE test not the driving test. So it is already closed so it wouldn't work. But i think i should plate off 1/2 of the intake from the int. housing, cuz that would make a difference at idle.

but it was the opposite with my GSL-SE with the 3 stock cats

My N/A wouldn't pass emissions to save my life, so I just did a TII swap. It laughs at emissions tests.
