Low RPM bucking

Hey guys,

Below about 4000 rpm my engine kinda bucks when i let off the gas suddenly, or when I tromp the pedal. Above 4000 it just decellerates really smoothly when you left off.

Its not a brutal buck or a stall or anything, but there is a marked difference between higher and lower rpms. Is this normal? Try it and tell me - just lift your foot off the gas at 5000 and 2000 and tell me if there is a difference!

Thanks,

mine doesnt exactly buck.. but feels REALLY REALLY shaky
like someone is hitting real low frequency on giant kickers or something
everything vibrates and all
high rpms make it much better

Mine doesn't do that. It doesn't seem like it should do that stock, but maybe with the auxillary ports tied open or with the throttle body modified. I have done both of those things, and it's still quite smooth throughout. Have you checked and/or replaced/adjusted your TPS. That could definitely have something to do with it I would think. Good luck.

Wow, six rotors is ontop of things. Great posts. Now I understand where the problem is coming from (probably my TPS) but I still have nooooo idea what I am supposed to do about it. I've never touched my engine (had it for 3 months) yet so I really have no idea what to do.

If someone could direct me to a post in the archives or a link where I could get info I would be grateful.

Thanks,

Nima
