Question Low oil pressure in 5th gear cruising and idle.

Hey all I just changed my oil a couple of weeks ago and I am now getting around 45psi of oil pressure at roughly 2800 rpms in 5th under light throttle(cruising). And at idle I am getting oil pressure that dips below 30PSI which is worrying me a lot. I haven't checked my oil level yet but I don't beleve to have any leaks. I have a good condition oil cooler and mazdatrix's SS oil cooler lines. All the rest is original equipment to my knowledge(OPR, thermal pellett, etc) What should I look for?

Front cover oil o-ring. The most common cause of low oil pressure that starts all at once.

Not that I'm aware of, but that or the e-shaft pellet are the only real points of failure that happen all at once.

Ok I'll see what the hell I can do this weekend.

One wierd thing to note is that I CAN get over 60PSI of oil pressure in the fist four gears upto and above the range where the 5th gear starts to dip. I guess i'll start looking for a place to buy the pellet and gasket.
