Low oil level warning while Autocrossing

Anybody else ever get that?

I was AutoXing my FC for the first time this past weekend, and after about 30 seconds into my run (each time), whenever I'd take a hard righthand turn (hard and somewhat extended), the oil level warning buzzer would sound.

So I checked my oil level after the first run, and it was above the L, but not too much... So I added 3/4 Q of oil. It still happened.

I know I have enough oil, but the buzzer sucks, because at first I thought it may have been my redline buzzer. Is this normal?

Yeah, your fine. I have watched my oil pressure gauge while the buzzer goes off and it stays at a good pressure. This is on my aftermarket gauge.

It is the oil being pulled away from the low oil sensor by centrifigual force.

They sell oil pan baffels if you are worried about oil sloshing away from the oil pump pick up. Mazdatrix.com has that.

So how did the race go? Congrats on your first Autox! I hope you can't wait for next month!

heh, thanks, that's what I figured.

It went kinda well. I beat a friend of mine in his highly-modded WRX. He's in SM, I'm in ES. He beat me in Raw time, I beat him in PAX.

I've autoXed plenty before, just never in an FC. I love the car, but my suspension (stock and old) is garbage. Lift-throttle oversteer worked 100x better than I ever could have imagined, at least
