Low end power and O2 sensor

I'm still having a huge lack of low end power in my TII. It just feels like the engine is running VERY rich till the RPM's come up above 3000 or so...even in neutral. I know of only one problem with the car...the wire to the O2 sensor is broken. I'll be replacing the sensor and the wire in the next few days, but would this cause such symptoms, or is it likely there is some other major problem?

i think that the broke wire is the cause of you running rich. also check to see if you are running any codes. you might even be able to just temporaraly fix the wire until you get the new o2 sensor. i don't think that it is anything other than that. also check if you pressure/boost sensor is connected cause that will cause you to run rich as a pig(atleast it did on my n/a)
