loud squealy-whistle coming from ?throttle body? (video)

gentlemen. (and ladies)

Ive got a super annoying squeal coming from somewhere i think on top of my engine.
sounds like it is throttle-position dependant. the video does not do justice to the volume of this noise, i can hear it on the highway. the noise happens at idle and cruise or other light throttle application. opening the throttle in neutral or to accellerate makes it go away ( it sort of reduces in pitch till it disappears). i think it is coming from the vicinity of my throttle body but it is very hard to be sure. I hope someone can shed some light on this subject as i am afraid it may be some vital component failure. hopefully not. changing the main throttle cam position affects the noise. holding the other cam there (secondary butterflys?) eliminates the noise completely, but causes a very erratic idle. I must say this, the computer is throwing codes for O2 sensor (which i have a replacement for but havent installed yet), and throttle position sensor (which i don't have yet.. thats why i am waiting to install the O2 sensor) those are the only error codes. the car runs good aside from the transmission problems. its a little slow but what can i say... automatic convertible.

yeah. its kinda freakin me out. i thought maybe it was some sort of bearing failure. but for it to be linked to throttle position makes no sense in that case.

resolution: i put in a new throttle position sensor last winter and it hasnt made the noise since. the little bastard was expensive, though. and a pain in the **** to change. i can't say conclusively that this was the problem, only that it hasnt resurfaced since.

Mine makes a crazy squeeling whistle whatever you wanna call it sound, but its the egr if I shove a piece of tin foil in the one square hole (engine side not firewall side) it goes away the egr being so old the spring is not able to give the pressure to hold it closed so its open the LITTLIEST bit so it gives the most annoying sound ever! Its on an 88 turbo II
