cut a muffler off at your local you pull it, weld it in.. you probobly have bad syncros in your transmission that you can't even hear making horrible noise.... i did. kinda wish i woulda left 3inch streight pipes on the bitch. then again i can have conversations again... about the bad syncros.

Cat or presilencer + good muffler. Don't get a header, Racing Beat says a downpipe (or other cat replacement) is just as good for power in fuel injected vehicles anyway. Get any exhaust leaks repaired or a cheap trick that lasts at least a few months is: wrap in fiberglass insulation, wrap that in a sheet of aluminum flashing, wrap that with hose clamps.

I could be wrong but I don't see how a little sound mat could possibly stop a super loud exhaust.
