loud clunk at wot, help!

I put a racing beat HD clutch in a few weeks ago, ever since then I notice a loud "thunk" whenever I press on the accelerator hard. It happens when the clutch is fully engaged, in any gear. If I push in the accelerator quickly, or release the accelerator from wot quickly, "Thunk". I havnt been able to isolate where it is coming from, maybe the differential?

Also, is the differential fairly easy to swap out? After a search I found that the LSD will swap right in.

Thanks!

If it is coming from the rear end under a sudden acceleration, its most likely the differential mount. The differential isnt "hard" to get out, but it is a giant pain in the ***. Easiest way is to drop the entire rear subframe , and drag it out from under the car. I know it sounds like a ton of work, but its really only a matter or disconnecting the rear axles, driveshaft, calipers, and then unbolting the diff and the subframe mounting bolts . (2 diff, and 4 subframe bolts)

Is the differential mount fairly easy to replace, or do I need to remove the differntial to replace this?

You'll have to at least lower it a bit to replace.

you dont have to remove axles and all that ****, just remove exhaust, drive shaft, rear sub frame, and down it goes, then just WELD THE ****** SOLID, and bolt it all back on. it will prob take a couple hours your first time but after about 8 like me its easier.
