Question Lots Of Hesitation!!

Its an 87 Turbo 2 and when you give the car a lot of gas at any speed inany gear at any rpm the car will hesitate like crazy. If you give it a little gas it wont hesitate and will rev up nicely. Help!

replace the fuel filter and check the fuel pump and you may want to flush your gastank or use some isoproplyene

Check your throttle plates and the black cam their linkage rides on. Plus, look at the damper the cam rides on. I'm talking about the outer set of secondary throttle plates.

Manually open and shut the throttle while looking at the mechanism. You should be able to tell if the outer seconary throttle plates are sticking or not.

And we're assuming that your problem is happening after the water temperature has risen above 125 degrees F.

I guess it's IMPOSSIBLE for the FCD to not work correctly...

As I said it occurs at any rpm. If I give it a lot of gas at idle it will still hesitate. There is almost no boost at idle! Its not because of an overboost.

use a bottle of Chevron fuel injector cleaner, that usually works well, if not, might try sending them to RC engineering.

also make sure your AFM flapper door (if you have an S4) is opening closing properly and smoothly

I started running 1/2 ounce of 2 cycle oil per gallon of gas and it solved a lot of hesitation problems....can't explain why and no use in getting into the theory here but it did a world of good in mine. I did not change my OMP system in any way. Can't hurt. I'll run it that way from now on.

or buy new plugs, their only ~6$ each, turbo's seem to run a bit smoother if you use all 9 spark plugs (the trailing ones)

proffesional cleaning is the best way IMO, 25$ each from RC engineering

Any other things that it could be? Do you think I could run a walboro 255 or would I have to get some other things before that with the following setup. Im running 12 pounds of boost as well.
