Lost boost @ 10psi - funny sound - scary - help...

I was on the car hard @10psi when a hose in between the charge pipe and the BOV let go...it made a scary "SCREEEEEEECH" like a lower toned "metal on brake rotor" sound.

I can't start the car b/c the battery cable to starter is fugged up. I can only start with a push...and no one to push me at this time.

What was that "SCREEEEEECH" sound? Did I harm the motor? It ran fine afterwards but when it got to boost, it didn't like it and lurched...I assume from the rich condition...

Probably no harm done other than the backpressure stress on the compressor.
No biggie.

I bet you're going to clamp you lines better next time.

Pay special attention to the waste gate line.
If it pops off, things can go bad very quickly.
