If you're losing pressure, there's either 1) air leaking into the system, or 2) fluid leaking out. And you can't have one without the other.
Did you change the clutch master AND slave cylinders? If not, do so. Having a strong m/c and weak s/c (or vice versa) will weaken the older one faster, or a problem with it could develop that you didn't notice with the old master or slave cylinder in there. Hence the reason you always do both to save the headaches.
Get the SS braided clutch line from Mazdatrix. Well worth the peace of mind.
One way to check the Master cylinder: Open the fill lid and watch as someone slowly pushes the clutch to the floor, if you get bubbles, that's bad.
Hope that helps...

You got air in your system no doubt about that. Also I think Iwas told someone mess with the MC push rod.... that no good.
They come factory adjusted and if they are out of range the system becomes a headache. I have worked several times with hydralic systems in many other different cars, However said to mess with that adjustment should be stoned.

I think you should definatly check your slave cyl.. like it was previously pointed out, if you replace one,a nd not the other, the greater pressure from the new one usually kills the old one..
(ed's note: Please don't tell me all the stories about "uncle donny ran a new master and an old slave for 95 years without a problem!", thanks)

if you want to get a slave cylinder cheap, then go to www.maz-max.com, I picked a my master and slave cylinder for $82.50 for both. And those are dealership parts. They have some of the best prices I have seen, they beat the dealerships by 1/2 the cost. They are out of Houston, and even with shipping you will be paying less than dealership. PM me if you need additional info.
