LOSS Of PRESSURE IN CLUTCH
OK i have been experiencing a loss of pressure in my clutch . its basically new ( about 5 months ) well up until yesterday i havent had a problem with it . well the clutch seems to want to engage lower to the floor than usual. i have bled the clutch numerous times and the pressure seems to come and go sometimesit engages when it is supposed to and sometimes it engages and disengages near to the floor well may there be a slit in a hose somewhere or something to that nature? well please someone help me out on this it pisses me off ohh yea...... when i redline and switch a gear it wants to loose pressure in the folowing gear
well n e ways i hope that is enough info thanks....

If you're losing pressure, there's either 1) air leaking into the system, or 2) fluid leaking out. And you can't have one without the other.
Did you change the clutch master AND slave cylinders? If not, do so. Having a strong m/c and weak s/c (or vice versa) will weaken the older one faster, or a problem with it could develop that you didn't notice with the old master or slave cylinder in there. Hence the reason you always do both to save the headaches.
Get the SS braided clutch line from Mazdatrix. Well worth the peace of mind.
One way to check the Master cylinder: Open the fill lid and watch as someone slowly pushes the clutch to the floor, if you get bubbles, that's bad.
Hope that helps...

You can have a pressure loss without an air/fluid leak... if the fluid leaks around the inside of the MC piston, you will lose pressure, but no fluid escapes and no air enters. This is what happened to mine... it's easy to replace.
You got air in your system no doubt about that. Also I think Iwas told someone mess with the MC push rod.... that no good.
They come factory adjusted and if they are out of range the system becomes a headache. I have worked several times with hydralic systems in many other different cars, However said to mess with that adjustment should be stoned.

yes sounds right but do u think i should invest in a new slave cylinder? i have bled the system numerous times and all i get is less pressure everytime its confusing and startin to bother me . i was even checking that clutch line u replaced and i saw no leakage or splits in the hose so now what ?
I think you should definatly check your slave cyl.. like it was previously pointed out, if you replace one,a nd not the other, the greater pressure from the new one usually kills the old one..
(ed's note: Please don't tell me all the stories about "uncle donny ran a new master and an old slave for 95 years without a problem!", thanks)

if you want to get a slave cylinder cheap, then go to www.maz-max.com, I picked a my master and slave cylinder for $82.50 for both. And those are dealership parts. They have some of the best prices I have seen, they beat the dealerships by 1/2 the cost. They are out of Houston, and even with shipping you will be paying less than dealership. PM me if you need additional info.
