ok so this weekend was definately part of friday the 13th

as heading on the interstate goin 85-90 goin up hill 5th gear. well as i went to accelerate more i lost power...the throttle did nothing and the rpms were slowly going down so i made my way to the side of the road and it didnt shut shut off but was idling perfectly and nothing seemed wrong. i tried getting back on and got through first,second,third,and fourth...about 2 minutes of going in fifth at about 60-70 it did the same thing as before except when i went to pull over it shut off as soon as i engaged the clutch...never to start again. wound up getting it towed back to my apt and here it sits.

i recently replaced the battery (2days before this) and im thinking that this could be the alternator...i replaced the alternator about 3to 4 months ago....

i tried to start it as soon as we got it off the tower but it doesnt even turn over....

could this be a bad alternator???

all help and any suggestions are very appreciated due to this being my daily driver

Turns out that Autozone sold me a battery that is 4 months old and very defective.....F**k Autozone what a bunch of dumbasses cost me $200 for towing and another $100 for gas for the person that had to drive me around[/pissed]

 

If the motor was vibrating like a paint mixer after it lost power and wouldn't start, time to buy a compression tester.
