Loss of power
I am just checking for a freind...... he has an 86 my old car.. now when the car reaches 3 to 4k the car looses power (winds down)
I had already had to replace the tranny once so I just originally thought it was the tranny when I parked it......... he replaced the cat's and is still having the problem................... any suggestions on a sollution to this problem?........... I gave up long ago but any help would be great...................Greg

sounds like the dreaded 3800rpm hesitation. should be easily fixed though. you just need to fix your grounding on the car. there are a couple of posts on this forum relating to what needs doing. just look for the appropriate thread and read along. like i said, easilt fixed. no need for a new tranny
