Thumbs up Looky here! - Once in a lifetime chance!!!!

Hey,

I have a chance to obtain between 20-30 86-88 coupe left tail lense & asssemblies. The lense alone are priced at $323.82 per side at Mazdatrix. The assembly is an additional $242.27 for a whopping total of $566.07 for one. I can get these to you (within CONUS) for $120.00 (if I get 20) or $100.00 (if I get 30). That is one hell of a deal. These are OEM Mazda parts still in the box. The only draw back is I can not get the left lenses. When you get a nice paint job you will need new lenses to make it stand apart from the crowd. I will pick them up in approximately 10 days. I will opurchase them and then contact all people who have shared interst. I will be getting 2 for myself.

See pic below if interested.

My e-mail address is [email]devildog1one@yahoo.com

Why not just buy them off ebay for $10-$30 each? The 86-88 are not in demand much, it's the 89-91 round style ones which are rare and in demand. People will pay up to $250 american for a set of those.

These are brand new out of the box, not 15 + years and faded.

You may still have a very hard time selling them. I don't know of anyone who would replace their 86-88 lenses with new 86-88 lenses. Most people prefer the 89-91. If you could get those, you would be holding a treasure.

I believe the S5 Taillight infactuation stems from a feeling of inadequacy in their Manhood, or perhaps its due to a lack of nurturing by their mother. Or deep, deep down inside they want to look like a ThunderTURD.

But there is still virtually no market for those.

I certainly do, but I'd never pay $120 for one side. I'll just paint mine when the time comes.

You getting them from www.mazdasurplus.com ? They're listed at 21 bucks each there.

I think you would have better luck if you had the left and the right...

Here's the direct url to the mazda page:

http://www.export-auto-parts.com/Mazda.htm

You have to buy 2 grand worth of stuff, or they charge a $50 service fee, but the parts are still worth it. Somtimes people willset up group buys and the fee is split up between forum members. Just keep an eye on the group buy forum...

Yeah, I'd buy brand new in the box ones from Mazda surplus for $21, but for $100+ and you're smoking crack

2K or you pay a $50 fee. still worth it in my book (picked up a pair of S5 T2 rims from them about a year ago --brand new in mazda boxes)

A clutch and PP is like $20 bucks or something. Add 50, and it's still a great deal.

So buy the damn things from Mazda....

I really wish people would think before they post.

As to the original poster, it's probably not worth it. S4 lights in good shape are in abundant supply, normally selling for about $15 per side on eBay.

There have been a lot of assumptions made, incorrect ones at that. I did not try to rob anyone or mislead anyone. I was unaward of the Mazda Surplus Store. I was picking them up in Virginia (Winchester) from a relative. I am amazed at the intensity and frequency that people attck each other here. WOW!!! I still prefer my own tail lighgts (new). I will just now purchase them from Texas. Thanx for using your little minds to assume and incenuate that I would purposely mislead my brothers of the RX7 world. Shame on you!!!

I wasn't saying you were trying to mislead anyone. However, I would assume the relative you are buying them from got them from maz surplus because the pic u used is the same as the one on the maz surplus sight.

I was up in winnchester today. Does your relative have a shop up there or something?

What you said is so stupid. People put them on their S4s( including me) because some people think that they look better than the S4 taillights. Thats the only reason.
