Looks like RE-Amemiya and Greddy are working on another wide body kit for the FC. (I'm pretty sure that the modified door is not part of the kit, but I could be wrong).

Since this was first posted in May (didn't notice it before), it is probably done now.

i dont think i like it, maybe if it was painted.

 

I think it looks the same as the previous GReddy/RE demo cars, perhaps the rear qtr panels are slightly different, but the front definately looks very simular, same with the doors.

 

Too bad that kit would cost you 5 digits before you even got it on your door step.

 

looks good from front and back, the door and fender connecting is pretty damn ugly

 

i think it looks pretty tight. the door is kinda wierd but it is sexy.

its the same as the kit that was previously produced as seen on a lot of FC's in Japan

 

only difference is the front bumper which people choose differently

nice body kit.... and I'm sure that will be real affordable too I bet that will be at least 5-7k.... Its cool but it isn't that cool

 

Not a big fan of the wide-body kits.
I've seen nicer ones, that don't fatten the car up as much.

It looks pretty decent. Anyone care to photoshop it all into one color? IMO, the rear 3/4 view makes it look a bit like a Starion, but not necessarily a bad thing.

 

i would rather have the feed wide body kit, if i was diong a wide body thing. I personally like the stock lines.

Actually this is not new to the FC world, maybe just now coming to light for some people but it's been around for a while . It makes the width of the car 1880mm up front. Takanori Yasuda has the samething done to his car...I haven't seen him around here in God knows how long. I remember my last PM from him was 5/3/02 so it's been out at least that long. It's nice, but doesn't quite fit my style. But I like the rear fender flares and how they blend. The front takes some growing on (I believe rx7.com has a picture of the FC in blue with that aero kit on it) me, but it serves purpose.

 

Neato...now if it only didn't cost eleventy billion dollars.

 

Not to mention the cost of the fatass rims you would have to stick under it to make it look right.

Okay, I no nothing about aerodynamics, but look at the front fender right behind the front wheel... It appears to have been smoothed out to the inside of the wheel-well -- I would think that would clean up airflow considerably in that area.
