You don't want to put a TII hood on your vert.
I would actually say that putting a TII hood on an na vert is borderline rice!!!
It's like putting the twin turbo badge from a 3rd gen on a 2nd gen or z28 on a v6 camaro
Just wait a little while and look for a doner turbo II, and build yourself the real deal. I'm very happy with mine!

I've got a white one, Aluminum, from an 88 TII. Paint isn't bad for the year.
Offers? It's in Ft. Worth, Texas... so keep in mind that shipping is prohibitive (expensive) due to size... and honestly I don't really want to try to package it to ship. In other words, preference would be given to someone who could pick it up.

Regarding Turbo hoods on N/A cars.
This is a conversation I had with vosko on the matter:
_________________________________________________
easy pcheesy: so do you think that a tII hood on an N/A is rice?
vosko: yup
easy pcheesy: so would you think it was rice when my brother put his Formula 350 firebird hood on his 305 firebird after the 350 was wrecked?
vosko: umm
vosko: dunno
easy pcheesy: what about his 350 spoiler?
vosko: i dunno
easy pcheesy: some people like hood scoops
easy pcheesy: I think I might have figured out why a lot of people feel like a tII hood on an N/A is rice.
easy pcheesy: the tII hood is basically how we tell it it's N/A or turbo
vosko: oh
vosko: yup
easy pcheesy: unless it has an aftermarket hood
easy pcheesy: or an n/a hood and a front mount...
easy pcheesy: but that's easy to tell too...
easy pcheesy: do you think someone who is in to civic hatchbacks knows that a RX-7 with a hood scoop means turbo?
vosko: nope
easy pcheesy: unless he knows about RX-7s, he'd probably think it's either stock or aftermarket
vosko: yup
easy pcheesy: so in that case, it wouldn't make any difference
vosko: ok
easy pcheesy: and what if a guy who was blind got run over by the car?
easy pcheesy: would he know it was an n/a posing as a tII?
vosko: lol
easy pcheesy: what about a kid who has been locked in a basement for all of his life? would he know?!
vosko: lol
easy pcheesy: If the car was engulfed in molten lava, from a volcanic eruption, and it was buried for 10,000 years, and people dug out the car. Would they say, "Oh, look at this. This guy wanted people to think he had a turbo. Pathetic..."
easy pcheesy: WOULD THEY?!?!

I have a good hood scoop piece. So, can help out if needed.
As to a T2 hood on a Vert being rice, all S5 TII Verts in Japan and largely in Europe were TII. So, lets just say having one gives your Vert the Off-shore look.
I suggest, if you're putting on a factory part, it's still factory so unfair to claim "Rice". This really bugs me.
(pulls out soap box)
I retro-fit the cherry wood steering wheel, hand brake lever, and shift **** from a '78 Cosmo into my Vert. Is that Rice?
Looking to put on S5 TII wheels because 16" is better than 15" due to less tire sidewall flex in the corners but still a reasonable ride. Is that Rice?
Most here seem to prefer the S5 tail lights (I don't). If they retro-fit S5 tail lights onto a S4, is that Rice?
Ultimately, my Vert will enjoy a TII drivetrane retrofit. Most will agree with me that all Verts SHOULD have been TII anyway because of the extra weight. Most time a TII retro-fit is done in stages to spread out the cost shock and time demand shock. I happen to stumble on an excellent shape TII hood for $50 (which I did) while gearing up for this retro-fit Is that Rice?
Hell, if I replace my factory radio with a, say, Sony current technology head unit, is that Rice?
Please......
Rice is (think Honda Civic with automatic transmission) twin level Aluminum rear wings, lights in the wheel wells, hyper-blink turn signals, heavy 18" wheels and tires with side walls SO short you feel every pebble you drive over, Batmobile like body kits, .............
Sheesh!!
(puts soap box away)
