I'm interested in purchasing a T2 (S5 preferably). Can someone refer me to any resources on what to look for when buying one of these cars? Why are RX7s always on their 2nd engine? Any help is appreciated.

 

Keep in mind an '89 is 14 years old, and some of them have had a lot of hard miles. My '89TII, which I purchased new, just had the engine replaced @ 158,000 miles-either cracked or stuck apex seal.
The cars are great, but a little expensive unless you can do the work yourself.
