Looking for some line drawings of the 2nd gen, coloring book style
Yes, I searched, found nothing useful.
It's time to plan the paint scheme for the NASA PTD racecar. I'm not the photoshop type so I would like to print off a few copies of a side view, front view, and isometric view of the RX7 to allow me to express my artistic side and come up with a few ideas before I waste too much masking tape and or paint.
Thanks in advance for any help.

An easy thing to do if you know someone with photoshop is to have them take the image and use the drawing filter (i think it's filter, might be something else, been a few years) which takes out the color and just leaves lines to make it look like a drawing. This would be nice as you could get any angle you want by finding a photo at that angle.

Exactly the effect I am looking for, very well done. I don't have access to photoshop and would only screw things up if I did, can I talk you into working your magic on one of these pics? I wasn't sure what lighting would be best so I tried to give you a range to work with.
Thanks much!

If have playstation 2 you can try finding a game called tokyo extreme racer 3. you can buy the TII and then the game lets you paint the car any way u like. its difficult to do using the controls in the game but it gives u a really good idea what it will look like in real life from all angles. im sure u can find other games that will let u do this as well (i think need for speed carbon lets u do this?).

This I've done.
For the photoshop thing, you have to do some tweaking with the setting and you can get them to come out decent, really doesn't work well with darker pictures as you found out, but you can always bring up the brightness and sharpen it first before doing the drawing thing.
