looking for a slightly smaller diameter clutch fan

ok i have the s4 stocker, i need a smaller clutch fan, (cp racing triangulated brace) I have heard that the s5 have one thats smaller, is that true? or could i use a first gen one? or something of that nature.Ive already tried the e fan setup and after years im going back to the stock system.

Since the S5 has a different fan it very possible it's smaller. I can't tell for sure though, your best bet would be to go to a junkyard and mesure. If it's not I don't see why you couldn't cut a bit off the S4 one.

well I was using the taurus e-fan, and it was pulling too much amperage and it failed on me twice in 2 years, so its just a risk i dont feel like taking anymore, the stocker seems alot more trouble free.

The S4 and S5 fan clutches are not interchangeable.
The waterpumps aren't either, and they have have different noses on the mounting hub.

I'd figure out what is wrong with your Taurus install...that should be a fairly reliable setup.
