Hi! New member here!

I am really interested in the 2nd gen rx7 and I am going to view one in an auction for only 500$ next week. Its a 1986 sport model (I think). My question is what I should look out for. Stuff to look at when buying a used rx7. I never owned a rotary so I dont know what to expect when buying. I've been doing research on the car and I want some actual live owners input on it.

Oh and the car has 170,000 miles on it.

 

check the compression and for fluid leaks and all the usual bs ud look for
