Looking for a New Clutch and Flywheel

I will be doing Motor and Transmission mounts very soon on my 1987 Mazda Rx-7 Turbo II. But first I thought it would be a good idea that since I am replacing the transmission mounts to go ahead and replace the stock clutch and stock flywheel with a new flywheel and clutch.

Does anyone know who makes some performance clutches and flywheels that operate well with the Rx-7. Obviously something that you have used and tested or something that you have heard good things about. And obviously what you have heard to stay away from.

So please list:

1. What is the brand of the clutch and flywheel
2. The pricing
3. What experience you have with them

Anything else you would like to add obviously.
Thanks Rx7 Club.

I've used a ACT Prolite flywheel with their HD street/strip clutch and it was pretty nice. I think I paid about $700 for it back in the day. It always took what I threw at it and never complained, but I didn't have a high HP build.

Also, you can't go wrong with OS Giken. They're bullet proof. I doubt he'll chime in, but Higgi has been using a used OS Giken that he picked up for years...even transferred it from his 13BT to his 20B. They're rebuildable and a used one can be had for a pretty cheap price if you keep your eyes peeled. Brand new they're about $2000 though.

Yea, I'm leaning towards Act's Prolite flywheel and one of their clutches. I'm going to try and research a little more to be sure and then order. Thanks for your information
