Apparently these bastards have been taking FC sunroof parts to fix their Buicks...
The OEM for Mazda Sunroof was Webasto, whom also manufactured the OE sunroof for the Buick Reatta among other vehicles.

As it turns out, there are many other makes that Webasto was contracted to make the sunroofs for... Provided that you have the time to scrounge the scrap yard.
Take a measuring tape!

Well like I said, Webasto is the manufacturer of the sunroof.
They made sunroof mechanisms for not only the Buick Reatta and the Mazda RX-7 but many many other vehicles...
Start looking for other cars with Tilt and Slide style sunroofs. Look for them on the road. Look for them in parking lots. Look for your buddies that have them.
Find similar vehicles in the scrap yard... Measure the sunroof. Get it if it's cheap...
Attempt to fit it.
If it fits, bam! You may just be the next RX-7 Club hero.

Not according to that article that Pele linked to. Though the mechanisms may be interchangeable with some modifications, the roof panel itself has more curvature in the RX-7 than the Reatta. Unless you find some way to bend glass, you won't be able to adapt a Reatta glass roof, even if you can find one.
Don't count on finding lots of Reattas in your local junkyard. They were rare when they were new; according to Wikipedia, they made just over 19,000 hardtops in the four years the car was produced, so it's about as rare as an S5 RX-7. Also the sunroof was only optional, and not offered until near the end of the first model year:

Sounds more like this means there may be some other cars out there with Webasto sunroof mechanisms from which RX-7 folks can scavenge mechanical parts.
