Looking at this FC

http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/pts/666417685.html

Going to turn it into a track car/ITS/EP car, unsure exactly what it'll end up being, but it'll be stripped, and tracked heavily. Says it needs new battery and starter.. it has no sunroof and its 5spd which is a big + for me.

What do you think?

$800 is dirt cheap, even for an NA coupe. I'd bring a battery and starter with me before I would buy, just in case there's some other reason why the car is priced so low.

Cool, thanks guys. I probably will, $800 isnt much money :P Maybe I can talk him down to 6..
The engine will be taken out and rebuilt anyways. And the interior will be stripped, im just happy its 5spd, blk interior (so I have black dash etc.. when its stripped), and all that good stuff.

Bit rough but cool, If it's too nice you'l be to worried about nailling it round a track.

With fuel prices the way they are ($3.00 per litre in UK now), RX7s here in the UK are worthless. I just bought a 1990 Turbo for $400, with only 25,000 miles on it, It had been sat for 6 months beacuse the guy couldn't get it started. I took it away and 15 mins work had her running again, the body was mint aswell.

Well the plastic is black. The dash and console are probably staying, and the rest is going to go

There is also that one, the guy said come down, make me an offer, so I'm thinking if I could get it for 1k I will do it. He doesn't know why it doesn't run either, but I REALLY want a black car instead of red..

I've replied to your PM.

Doesn't he say in that advert for the black one that it's a 'good runner' ???

Yeah, I called him and its not running, they don't know why, maybe thats a good way to cut the price down. I'm going to port the motor anyways and rebuild a lot of the car so I don't really care.

Nice dude. Unless theres some major problems with it I would buy it. If it runs pretty smooth you could sell it for at least 2500-5000 worse to worse. RX7s are worth a hell of a lot to some people.
