Looking to buy Rx7. have some questions

I have a chance to buy a 1986 RX7 GLX.

I need to know if that has a limited slip rear-end.

I have a shot at it for $450 !

A 5 spd GXL should have the LSD, however, note that the S4 LSDs do wear out, so the LSD in this car may be partially working or not at all.

What he said, plus see my post in this thread:

BTW, I think the LSD is over rated. You can search this forum and find all sorts of posts from people who have been driving their RX-7 for a while and don't even know if they have an LSD or not, LOL. Just look for a nice car, and I think you will be happy. Check out Aaron's site for buying tips:

Yeah, I actually want to pull the rotary and put in a 350ci or 302. I want the rear end to be in good shape and I think the Limited slip rear would be nice.

I hope this one is in good shape, 450 is pretty cheap.

umm, the rear diff in these cars is not made for drag racing. so you might want to look into a ford 9" or something that can handle a whole lot of torque.
