Arrow Looking for best ways to boost Peformance.

Hi there, I just bought my first RX7 yesterday, 3700 Cash for a 1988 GXL with 213,000K .... 132, 352.064 miles with a rebuilt transmittion and new clutch(20,000 kilometers/ 13,000 miles) and a new engine with 100K/65,000 Miles.)

(Im in Love)

but i do have some questions.
1. Does anyone know where i can buy a power window switch for the passangers side. and a drivers side tail light.
2. What is the purpose of the red switch below the auto adjusting suspension?
-----> mines broken
3. What are the best ways to boost peformance on a fairly new 13B N/A
if you could list them from cheapest to most expensive (rough estimate)
that would be prefered.
4. what shocks should get me the smoothest ride possible? (hopeing to get the auto adjusting suspension buttons to work again)

thanks

do all ur maintenance first...just perform a search...then after everything checks out ok....intake and exhaust are good mods for an N/A...and an S-AFC b/c usually after the exhaust N/A's run rich up top and the S-AFC can remove some of the fuel and give u some power...

yup take a read through the FAQ and archives, theyre really informative.

go to the classified section for the switch
The security light? its just a light.
Full Exhaust > CAI > S-AFC (search)
Dont count on getting the auto adjust buttons working. id say some koni yellows or tokio adjustables, with Racing Beat springs (www.racingbeat.com)

On an N/A the most performance gains for the least amount of $$ are to be had by changing out the stock exhaust system with a cat back system. If you do this, make sure the new exhaust is made for use in rotary systems as the exhaust runs very hot and will fry a system made for the family sedan. A decent catback system will probably cost $500 or less. The next thing to do is change out the stock intake air filter box, replace it with a good cone filter and build a cold air (heat shield) box around it.

More mods will also net some power increases for an N/A but they can get quite pricey.
