I just got an '88 gxl and i can't seem to easily find parts for it. Right now im lookin for a intake, i can find those but it they all look like they dont come with the pipe just the filter and brackets. Does anyone know where i could find a full kit or will i just have to get one of thesew and make a custom pipe?

 

do a search for "integra intake" or "acura cold air intake". The kit they sell with the piping/couplers and filter on ebay can be easily made to fit a 7. I think they are like 40-50 dollars.

 

You need to make one. Search this forum for "prelude intake".

 

is the intake diameter the same of the rx--7 and the integra intake. like is it just able to be put on right away? other than making it fit in the engine bay.

 

IIRC you'll need a 3.5" to 3" coupler to attach it to the throttle body elbow as well as an adapter for the AFM...and perhaps a couple of straight 3" couplers to plumb the AFM into the piping.........other than that ebay has you covered for the filter and tubing.
