Actually, putting a 13B in it would be a stroke of genius as finally they would have something to set it apart from the copy cat BMW, etc that is unique to Mazda that COULDN'T be copied. And, considering what kinda HP the normally aspirated 13B's seem to be capable of now. DANG!!

Yeah, I really like the looks of this new design. The old designs, both 1st and 2nd gens, weren't bad, but they just looked like they were made for women and gay men to drive. This one actually looks like a sports car, and if it were rotary powered, it would rock. I know Mazda was thinking about making a special edition of the new Miata with a slightly detuned Renesis in it. Sounds good to me.

Yea, I posted a few pics of that a while back. That is definately sweet. Looks even better from the rear. I always liked miatas, I am thinking of getting one right now to turbocharge. Ya know just strap on a $3500 turbo kit, intercooler and ecu and bov included, and you can probably break into high 13's!! Id have to get a body kit of course so It wouldnt look like the girly gay-man car it is now. Just an idea though. Oh, and I heard that this is just a prototype in Japan, and if it is made its not certain it will come to the US. Why dont we get any of japans cool ****?? *cough* Skyline *cough*

Nice looking car.

BTW, it is strange looking at a speeding car that has nobody in it. LOOK OUT! IT'S A RUNAWY MIATA!

Look at the right side seat. There is a silhoutte of a person. Which matches up with the side of the street they are driving on. But I'm not saying that it couldn't still be faked.

Of course, I looked at the right side of the car. But I do not see a silhouette of a person. I think what I see is the rear quarter window. But I may bee wrong.

I don't like it. I MUCH prefer the current design. But that's just me.

The Skyline sucks. It's overpriced and heavy as hell.

under $40k US for a fully equipped GT-R and they're overpriced. they're lighter than a supra, and all that weight is from the ATTESSA 4WD system, which is more than worth it. if you dont like that you can get the much lighter RWD GTS-T models

maybe its overpriced...if you're paying what motorex charges

It's under $40k USD in Japan, but if they did sell it in the U.S., it would most likely be more expensive here, and in my opinion it looks more like a luxury sports sedan than a sports car to me. If you look at the FD, if I'm not mistaken, it's about $28k USD in Japan, but when it was here, wasn't it closer to $40k? The FD is a true sports car. I really don't care at all about the Skyline's coming to the U.S.

Maybe it's being driven by a really short person. Could be a Hobbit...

There's definitely a person there, and yes you can see the rear quarter window too. I can almost make out a face though.
