Stranger things have happened. I don't know how long it will take, but I can see a day where RX-7s start to become more collectible and get restored instead of trashed. I don't think it's going to happen in the next few years though. The 1st gen has to get there first.

 

well with the amount of FCs on the road at the current time i think it already is a collectible car but obviously there is little demand for them. probably 2 dozen of them in all of sacramento county still running out of 1/2 million? cars on the road here. i doubt the value of them will be going up anytime in the near future especially due to the test only flags and emissions standards in the US right now.

 

Yep, emission laws are sucking the last few older rotarys off the roads. I have only seen 2 other FC's in my area, that was in a town with a pop of 250k. Only seen a couple FD's though as well.

 

I want one!!!! When i move to AZ. in 2 years, im definatly gettin an FD. white though. its a little cooler in the 120 degree weather, but it's a dry heat.....hahahaha! I am anxiously awaiting the pick up in Louisville on Tuesday. I will have at least 14 hours to decide if i like it or not....

actually, jacob, im flying out on tuesday. but i'd like to maybe meet up or something. the guy jason is supposed to pick me up at the airport, pick up the car, do some paper work, then we'll be on our way. we gotta go to a grocery store, but thats about it. what do u think?
