today i had somebody check my car after swapping the motor. he aligned the cas and checked everything. everything seemed fine. the car start only with the afm off? when we put the afm on theres a hissing sound that seems to be comming from the fpr..what could it be bad afm?

apples and oranges. if you do a swap make sure everything is compatible incl. the computer or the whole thing will be a big mess

 

i have a 88 turbo harness and injectors and n332 computer
i herd na afm can be used

just used the turbo afm same thing.. nonthing changed. we toke out the sparkplugs and turn the cas, the injectors click. but its like if the rotors arnt getting fuel. the car has gas...

 

oyea and when it does start we have to floor it for it to stay on. thats with the afm pluged in. what controls the injectors how much to fire? cas, afm, and ecu?
