Logicon unit malfunction? no heat (sometimes)

I have heat, then i dont have heat, i have it, then dont....If i slap the logicon unit (heater/fan control) the heat would work....like it is not opening/closing the blend door correctly. I also have periodic blower motor problems. Sometimes it will work, then it wont. When i have the fan speed in the off position, i hear the fan relay clicking like crazy. I dont have any cooling/overheating problems. Could the logicon unit be at fault for the heat failure, as the blend door isnt working...or could it be the blend door motor? And I think the blower motor problem is that relay....any thoughts??

Yeah would be sweet if someone could answer this cuz I have the heat, no heat issue aswell (except now I have no working blower fan cuz i plug 2 plug in the wrong ones[dont ask how] and bought new blower and still no working fan), thought it was the thermostat not working properly but I changed it to 3 different ones and still wasn't getting heat.

logicons are known to go bad.....replacing thermostats is not going to change anything, its usually electrical issue in the logicon itself....

Is it just cold solder points like the center console lights? Or is it a failure of certain components with in the logicon? (not that mines bad but my friend is having similiar issues, I personally am planning on transfering it over to a touch screen control)

It sounds like the cold solder points. The logicon, idiot light cluster and cpu often have issues with the solder points.

If you are going to fix it yourself, it's a real pain to get the logicon out.
