loctite or JB weld ?
here's the background :
I overtorqued the adapter bolt that goes into the front cover ( was doing this to replace the oil cooler lines) . I drove the car around and it is leaking lots and lots of oil....
Before I try replacing the front cover, I am going to try either loctite or JB weld on the bolt threads to try to create a good seal.
Has anyone tried this before?? I need help deciding which to use... This is what i have thought through.. The JB weld is know to seal cracks and can withstand 600 degress F. However JBweld is made for other things where as the Loctite's only purpose is to permantly seal in a bolt...
So what do you guys think? Loctite or JB weld???
