24 locksmith, $65 later you wont be making that mistake again will ya now?
you can tay to do it yourself but i'm not going to write-up improper use of a coat hanger.

a coat hanger could unlock it, you'll probably have to fiddle with it for a while before you figure out what to do.

Call up a friend with an RX-7. I'm sure his/her key will work in your car since you have an FC.

find a piece of wire or a coat hanger.

take a sharp piece of plastic or a small flat tipped screwdriver and pop off the window seal and slide it out. bend the wire/coat hanger and go fishing, the lock rods are visible and easy to get to.

once finished have a mod delete this thread.

I did that once. Tried a coathanger, and even tried to pick the lock. Then I tried my friends key from and old Civic. I just put it in, wiggled it a bit, and it opened right up.

Locksmith unless you want to tear up your weatherstripping.

Doesn't anyone keep a spare key at home? Good investment.

Call 911 and tell them you have a non-emergency and that you locked your keys in the car. They will ask you the year/make/model, power/manual locks, etc. Cops will show up within a few minutes and have them out. I don't know about your local police, but I did it twice in my MR2 and they were able to get them out with absolutely no damage to the car.

How do you manage to lock your keys in when the lock pops up when the door is closed.

Oh, I did it. Once you get into the habit of closing the door with the handle up... it's a bitch.

Luckily the tow truck driver got em out free of charge.

Now I keep a spare in my records and my wallet. Oddly enough some small home hardware was able to cut my keys here in Waterloo when noone else could. Even the dealership had to place an order for the blanks.

Werd. A similar shaped key may also work, as well. Afterwards, you might want to get new locks and keys from the dealer, or at least change whichever one is fucked. I waited too long and wound up getting jacked for ~$600 worth of stereo equipment.

Slim Jims work PERFECT on the FC. Do not use the hook end - use the flat end and push down in the area around the door handle. Lock will pop easily.

A piece of steel banding will also work even better as it is wider and all you need to do is push down, not pull.

Just fish around in the area just below and around the handle once you get between the rubber trim and the window.

You will be soooo sick once you see how easy and quick it is to jack your way into a FC.
