Question location of 5th and 6th ports?

ok, first off, I did search, and maybe I'm just bad at it, but i came up dry on this.

I gutted my cats the other day, and considering that I doubt my aux ports were opening anyway considering my luck, I know that after eliminating as much back pressure as I did will pretty much shoot all hopes of them opening mechanically. I want to wire them open. I know this isn't as great as if they worked right, or as good as electric actuation, but it's my only feasible option now.

so the question is... where the hell are they, what do they look like, what do I wire them to, and all the relevant questions. It'd be great if you could post pics of their location, what they look like when wired open etc...

thanks soooooo much guys n' gals

also, what kind of gains can I expect from the two of these mods( combined and seperate) right now the only other mods i've got are the intake thingy, and exhaust.
I'm expecting the loss of some low end torque, any other disadvantages other than never passing emissions?

Yo, what sup. Okay. The ports are located on the left side of the engine, Above the exhaust manifold. There are two little shafts and what looks like a little mushroom :P. You can't miss them. If you dont know if they are workin put some white grease on the top of the shafts (shafts are about 3/4 inch long i think) and drive around, preferably a "spirited" drive and see if the white grease is at the bottom of the shaft you will know your ports are workin correctly if you see grease on the shafts or on the bottom piece. (Now that i think of it. Those are the actuators not the actual Ports but way of testing should work)

I think you will lose some low end torque if you have them wired open. And Gas Cunsumption will increase

Ciao, evan

i've seen a picture of BCTY's car i dont know how to wire them open. But it look liked he took zap straps and just pushed them into the Open position...

Search for user name "BCTY" and maybe... 6 ports, or wired open?

Cheers
