Sweet!

Price is around $50, and IIRC the lead time is quite large.

I looks like things are starting to come together.

jester1341,
Can you give us a clear explanation of the deal as you understand it:
-Price
-Leadtime
-Required items (A-pillar, color samples)
-Contact informatin for Lotek (do you have a name? etc.)
-etc.

If I'm going to take up some responsibility here, I'd like to get my ducks in a row before moving forward.

to my knowledge, we must establish a Project Leader. He/she will be responsible for collection of the payments for the 30 pods, sending in the color samples and a-pillar (which is a non-returnable part), and then receive the prototype for test fitting.

Only the Project Leader is to be in contact with Lo-Tek about the project. So, more than anything, we need a project leader first and foremost.

Anyone have some plactic they'd be willing to provide as a color sample?

anybody know what the deal is with this. Or is just another one of those useless threads to make something happen but never comes to fruition?

no one was "making it" in the 1st place. this was to gauge interest for a 'group buy' of a product that has yet to be made.

in other words there needs to be a leader to contact the LoTek company, to organize those tha intend to buy, to collect the parts needed for the mock-up phase, to test the mock-up, to then finally reach a mock-up that is perfect for production to begin

so far the only problem is no one wants to do it......

maybe we should talk to the RXtuner guys.......maybe they could help out?? there have been alot of new products in the mag[1st gen manual racks.....all gen non-popups rx-8 products]. maybe we can get them to help with the group buy or something....
