NY Little help needed- idle/tps adjustment

So my S5 idles around 600rpm (smoothly) But i want to bump it up to 800rpm.

There is suppose to be a 2 wire? green? clip by the battery that you are suppose to jumper to disable the BAC so i can actually adjust the idle. Now i have this on my S4 but i do not see it on my S5 n/a. Here is a picture of the S5. One green clip has 3 wires, the other green clip has one wire(which i know is to check for codes)

Is this 2 wire clip the white one to the left in the picture??? Its a 2 wire clip(black & something striped) but the 3rd hole is blank. I cant get the damn clip off the BAC to disable it to adjust idle or i would have just done it that way from the start. The clip on the BAC is stuck on there damn good!

SOOO how do i disable the BAC so i can adjust my idle? I have the led tps tool standing by to adjust the tps once i adjust the idle.(all while warm) A little guidance please? Thanks, Nick

You ground the single green one in the picture. I jumper mine straight to the -neg terminal on the battery.

I would suggest if it's not broke don't fix it.

Lets say you wanted to remove the plug to the BAC. There is a very small wire clip that surrounds most of the BAC plug at the very bottom of the plug which needs to be pulled off and an ice pick or something similar can be used to take it off. Once this is done it comes off like butter.

The connector to be grounded should only be grounded for diagnostic purposes.

The plug to the BAC is solid and wont budge, i cannot get it off no matter what. Trust me i disconnected tons of plugs but this one is solid! I rather leave it since i shouldn't pull it unless i need to.

So can i get confirmation that the single green check connector is also for the BAC?

And I tell ya there is a wire clip on the plug. I agree it is very small but maybe your lighting is not good enough but it is there nonetheless.

I hope I'm not leading you too far astray here, but:

On an S5, there is also a screw on top of the throttle body that can raise and lower the idle to a certain extent. Make sure your TPS is dialed in *just* right before messing with that thing, though.

i know. But you must first disable the BAC before doing so. I will be doing it later tonight.

When you jumper the initial set coupler, the "duty cycle" of the BAC is lowered but it still is operating but at a lesser degree. To turn it completely off you would have to disconnect the electrical plug to it.
