A little help with my build (suspension, engine, trans.... just about everything)

hey everyone im a new guy on the rotary scene and just trying to get a good starting point. i am preparing to gather all the things i need to turn my car around from decent running 87 fc ith a 13b n/a to a streetable track car. I am not a new guy to the tuning, ive built a few low 12 sec civics boo i know lol. ive also built three s-10s that lay frame not quite a track car but def a ton of work. so enough of the boringness of my past builds.

I have really been looking forward to an rx7 since i could remember (originally wanted an fd, but considered price and availability and the fc looked alot better.) my first step on the fc is suspension i dont want it slammed just solid so i did a search on here and decided to go with tokico hp's and tien s techs. i am eventually going to upgrade but for what i need/ can afford these will work.

next will be a 5 lug conversion, i am searching the f/s ads on here for that. but that brings up the wheel selection, i really like the ms02's but am a little worried about the offset any input would be great.

then brings up the powertrain, countless headaches on this for me. i understand how the rotary works but have no idea on building one for performance (common new guy). i wouldnt mind going for a full on 20b turboed swap, but the workload on this may be a bit much im not sure tho. the main questions on the swap are about the tranny(does it have to be swapped) the drive shaft(custom or take off) and rear end (take off of fd? custom mounts).

i do have a lift and welders and basically a full shop, no machines tho for custom fabs.

depending on how much work is involved i am thinking of just keeping with a 13b with a tt setup. i am not sure what all is required for this other than putting the tt rearend in of course. i have a bead on a few tt setups from junked cars (new turbos would go on) or should i just pull and rebuild the 13b that they came off of with the wiring.?

lastly if i put a 13b tt in do i need the tt tranny or will my n/a one work.

i know i am asking alot but ive been on the hunt around here for a while on the searches and everything seems to be split up and in pieces and im just working on a huge headache with it lol. i really do appreciate the help and as i get into it i plan on doing a full photo write up for other guys that come in after me with the same questions. i look forward to hearing everyones ideas and expertise that im lacking right now haha.
