Little help with a clutch/tranny problem
Little help with a clutch/tranny problem
well i got my car finished and started with the new S5 engine for the first time last night, this morning i tried to move the car and realized, the clutch doesn do anything, the car will slightly rock and then not move, i can rev it in gear without moving.
i checked the TO bearing, the clutch fork before install, looked great, and was working with last engine, clutch was working great in last car, clutch pedal feels awesome.
what could it be?? this was a straight engine swap so i didnt remove tranny, or driveshaft.

ok just to clarify
the engine came out of a running car that i drove in, i did not remove the clutch/pp/flywheel, it is the way it came out of the car that was driving.
i can not put the shifter into gear if the clutch is not depressed, when i depress the clutch i can put it into gear, it will rock the car about 1" forward then not move anymore, even if i rev in gear, its like having no clutch and revving freely, it does not slip or burn the clutch.

hmm i did forget one thing, when i put it back together i never actually bled the clutch, i just added more fluid and pumped the hell out of it, could that be a problem?? lol
on a side note, the part that worries me most, i put on an underdrive main crank pulley during the install, i depressed the clutch with a 2x4 to keep it down like youre supposed to, now that this is happening im so worried that i ruined the torrington bearings. any signs to show that they mightve been damaged??

since either no one feels to help, or no one knows, i bled the clutch well, still nothing, took off the slave and inspected, looks/works fine, fork seems to be working fine, im adjusting the pedal tomorrow to see if that does anything.
