I get almost 300 city, redlining it numerous times a week and holding high rpm's daily... When I drive highway, I get well over 300. But then again, I'm scared to leave the county in my 7... But anyways, I get at least 20 mpg city

Congratulations I guess, but sheesh...it's a semi-modern car-it should be able to go 1200 miles without falling to pieces.

This forum seems schizophrenic to me in the sense that people extol the handling, looks and speed of the RX while secretly harboring the fear that it won't make it to the next gas station.

I know really. People here are so scared to drive their rx7's when there are way worse cars out there doing it everyday.(driving long distances)
