A little advice?

I have 2 88 verts, 1 is a parts car, and 1 is my daily driver with about 100,000 miles on it, should i go with a TII upgrade, or should i just get my parts car motor rebuilt? And are any of the port upgrades legal for smog in CA?

Well, does your daily driver need a new engine? If it runs fine, why spend money rebuilding your 2nd S4 block unless you feel the other one is going to die soon. 100k really isn't that much; you've likely got another 100k+ to go.

You can get a street port that will keep the car passable, and pick up a small hp gain. Of course a TII swap would net you a bigger gain, but that's a much bigger project. If you get a JSPEC motor with good compression, you can swap for around $2000, but expect $4000+ if you have someone rebuild the block too.

It all comes down to how much you have to spend.

Im thinking i might just want to go with a NA, who would do a smog passable port, and how much does it run?
