Limp mode, bad idle, CEL on after wastegate port... [VIDEO]

I pulled my turbo last night to port the wastegate, and finished up this morning and put the turbo back on.

Prior to this, my car ran perfectly. Just rebuilt the engine about 2 months ago, and it has been running strong ever since. I ran the entire day at the 626 drift event 2 weekends ago and had zero problems. I'm on a straightpipe exhaust so I was having a bit of boost creep, so I didn't do any pulls because I wanted to make sure I ported the wastegate before I go crazy.

I was having some boost leak issues, so I took off everything from the turbo to intake mani, plugged it with some PVC and pumped it with 15psi of air and had no leaks...but as I was taking them off, i had forgotten to tighten a few of the bands on the tmic hoses lol so there was my boost leak.

So anyways... after bolting the turbo back on this morning, and putting my charge pipe/bov and intercooler back on the car, basically that is ALL I had touched since the car ran a few days ago. As soon as I start it up I am having crazy problems, almost didn't start, had to hold the throttle down a bit to keep it at idle the first few times...and after trying to give it a little gas I realized it was in limp mode (I have experienced it before and knew how it acted).

So I just want to know if this is related to my porting job, or if I have problems elsewhere/maybe unplugged something stupid while in the process of putting **** back on? I took a quick look, didn't see anything that looked too weird...but haven't done too thorough of a look because I have to leave for work soon...

I'm thinking about it, and to me it sounds like even if i ported my wastegate WAY too big, or even if i just took the flap completely off so that most of the exhaust completely bypassed the turbo hot side, it would still idle totally fine and have no problems, I just wouldn't be able to boost. WEIRD I think I just must have effed up something while I was trying to pull the turbo out between the upper rad hose and the wiring harness or something...I have no effing clue but I'll take a look. Just wanted to get this vid up so that I can get a few other opinions as I'm gathering mine.

Enjoy:
