Limits of stock turbo ECU?

Well, Im reconsidering my choices in building a new engine for my car. I wanted Camden's supercharger, but from what I keep hearing it is not going to be what I had hoped for. So now I am contemplating doing a full turbo swap. I figure I can sell alot of my N/A stuff and probably come out not paying all that much for just the basic swap in the end (2 S4 N/A engines, tranny, 4.3 torsen rear end, etc..) But I was wondering , how far can I go with the stock S4 turbo ECU? Id like to have 250-300RWHP, and I know I would need an upgraded turbo as well as a lot of fuel , but would just a S-AFC be fine with the stock ECU? I know a standalone would be "better", but at close to $1000 + the price of getting it tuned I rather not go that route if I didnt have to..

I don't understand - you talk about Camden supercharger, which requires going carbs, and then talk about turbos?

The stock FC turbo boost sensor can only read up to 14psi. I'm assuming, it's only "mapped" that high.

IIRC the new kit uses the stock EFI.

No no...I was waiting on the new EFI supercharger kits that they have been working on..

I dont do carbs..

So, in a goal of say...275RWHP. I could hypothetically do this on stock ECU, with a hybrid turbo running 10-12psi? All being tuned properly of course... Basically I just want to know if I *need* a standalone EMS for that power goal..

That would be atkins super, but that has nothing to do with what he asked anyway. He's asking if he can get 300rwhp using the stock ecu/upgraded turob (I'm assuming) and probably an s-afc/injectors/walbro/etc to go with it. I'd say it can be done.
