Lights On Radio off =*(

anyone ever seen it where the dash lights are on it cuts the radio off? If i pull the illuminator fuse the radio and headlights work but i cant see how fast im goin help =P

and Yes I have seen it... You my friend, have a SHORT

my guess is that the radio is wired into the lighting circuit somehere and that there is a grounding issue.

Start tracing the wires bud!!!!!

I'm also assuming that you have an aftermarket stereo!!!

My deck will shut itself off if the battery voltage drops to around 10v. Found this out trying to get home minus one alternator belt.
