I thought the GTUs was the only hardtop without a sunroof? If I am not mistaken isn't it the lightest FC?

Technically, the lightest FC was the '86 Base model. The lightest with 5-lug and 4-pot brakes was the 86 sport model.

No it isn't The GTUs was the lightest S5 not lightest fc, and the no sunroof option was also offered on the s4 base model and sport models. The lightest fc is probably the base with no sunroof, ps, ac, no options whatsoever. Although the sport comes in 2nd its a much better platform, 5 lug, TII brakes, and all the other lightweight goodies the base comes with.

Car came that way...this GTUs had all of the "options"-- dealer-installed AC, rear seat, security system (factory), and full stereo system (factory).

Anyone want mint-condition back seats?
