my ebrake light on the logicon stays on all the time even when the brake is released but only when the car is on well it worked at first then started lighting up all the time well after that it fixed it self for the timer being at least well it started up again . is the cable hung up on something? how can i fix this prob?

The brake warning light warns of either handbrake on, low brake fluid or a blown brake light bulb. If it comes on when you brake, it's a bulb, but since it's constant, it's probably low fluid.

 

Yep, just top off the master cylinder with brake fluid, and youll be all set

 

well guys thanks ill check on that but like 2 or 3 weeks ago i filled her up wit brake fluid it should be filled still well ill look but if not that then what do u think>?

Not if you have a leak... First check all five brake bulbs light up when you press the brake pedal. Then check the switch at the handbrake lever; it shouldn't have continuity with the lever fully down. If it's neither of these three things, then it might be a problem with the warning light cluster. Time for some resoldering.

 

BTW, the ebrake light is on the idiot/warning panel. not the logicon.

The Logicon is the climate control panel.
