Level warning light

My oil level light comes on sometimes but my oil is full, I asked this question once before but wanted to make sure, if the oil is full and the light continues to come on its the apex seals wearing down? please correct me if Im wrong.

If your oil level light comes on and oil level is full, than either your oil level sensor (located at LHS of oil pan) is defective or you may have a short in the oil level sensor's wiring. The oil level sensor has nothing to do with the apex seals.
