No it doesn't. That is the point of the pic with the 22oz cup with the tranny in 5th gear.

My Wife has asked that I stop posting pictures of my crotch on the internet... So... Use your imagination.. I shove my drink safely between my legs then try not to squeeze it too hard with my powerful yet sensual inner thighs..

Jack, I see a coin tray above the cupholder.
Your car must be capable of holding about $500 in coins now.
Very useful.

That coin holder is as anachronistic as a conscience in a Congressman...

My wife has some retail stores and does not accept either credit cards or debit cards. Admirably Luddite. It turns out that everyone has cash, but no one carries any coins. She gives out $10-15 of coins everyday making change.

When I initiated my cupholder search, I acquired exactly the same unit you used (Ford?).
I then realized that my car would have three spots specifically dedicated to holding change...the cupholder unit and TWO coin holders in the center console (one on the switch panel by the SECURITY light and one under the armrest pad).

I began to wonder what was wrong with me because I couldn't recall the last time I needed ready access to coin while I was driving but clearly everyone else must as the need had been so lavishly catered to.

I finally decided that the RX had been designed by someone from Chicago, where you get nickeled and dimed to death every few miles because every road is a tollroad.

Works great! Can be placed in the rear storage bin when not in use! Didn't cost a dime!
